About this Bundle
The iProtect Certified Junior Penetration Tester (iCJPT) is a practical, hands-on certification designed to assess foundational skills in ethical hacking and network penetration testing.
Candidates are provided with four deliberately vulnerable machines and One full days to assess, enumerate, exploit, and compromise the assigned targets within a controlled examination environment.
The exam focuses on the practical application of penetration-testing techniques, including reconnaissance, enumeration, vulnerability identification, exploitation, privilege escalation, and post-exploitation activities.
Rather than relying solely on theoretical knowledge, the iCJPT requires candidates to demonstrate their ability to identify weaknesses and successfully compromise systems in realistic, controlled scenarios.
The certification is designed for aspiring penetration testers, cybersecurity learners, and security professionals seeking to demonstrate practical entry-level offensive security skills.
What You Will Learn
- Reconnaissance & Information Gathering — Identify targets, services, technologies, and potential attack surfaces.
- Network Scanning & Enumeration — Discover open ports, services, users, shares, and other useful information.
- Vulnerability Identification — Analyze discovered services and applications to identify exploitable weaknesses.
- Web Application Testing — Identify and exploit common web application vulnerabilities in controlled environments.
- Password & Authentication Attacks — Assess weak credentials, authentication mechanisms, and password-related weaknesses.
- Exploitation Techniques — Use appropriate techniques and tools to gain initial access to vulnerable systems.
- Privilege Escalation — Identify and exploit weaknesses that allow movement from a low-privileged account to higher privileges.
- Post-Exploitation — Analyze compromised systems, identify valuable information, and understand the impact of successful exploitation.
- Network & System Attacks — Apply practical techniques against common Windows and Linux services.
- Practical Penetration Testing Workflow — Follow a structured methodology from reconnaissance through exploitation and validation.
- Using Penetration Testing Tools — Work with commonly used tools for scanning, enumeration, exploitation, and post-exploitation.
- Evidence & Reporting — Document findings, evidence, attack paths, and security impact clearly and professionally.
